Support Facility Management departments in developing feasibility studies, technical concepts, and projects across both branch offices and administrative buildings.
Conduct detailed technical studies for IT cabling (Copper and Fiber Optic), low-current cabling, and systems related to security and multimedia.
Independently design and document technical rollouts, ensuring compliance with internal standards, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
Develop, publish, and maintain standardization guidelines in collaboration with colleagues.
Perform risk analyses and manage technical audits, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all installations.
Provide second-line expertise for technical issues or requests from other Facility Management areas.
Prepare, verify, and maintain as-built documentation for all completed projects.
Conduct on-site visits across Belgium to evaluate and oversee technical cabling and security installations.
Experience Required
Minimum 6 years of experience in designing or executing cabling and/or security projects, preferably in large-scale organizations.
Strong expertise in Copper and Fiber Optic cabling, site monitoring, and technical documentation.
Proven ability to develop project specifications, review quotes, and ensure compliance with technical standards.
Cabling certification from at least one supplier (PANDUIT, LEVITON, COMMSCOPE, etc.) is mandatory.
Good knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, Visio, and measuring equipment is an advantage.
Experience with alarm systems, access control, and security solutions is a plus.
Languages: Dutch and French (fluent or good level required); English is optional.
Education: Master’s degree in Engineering (ir or ing).
